1. Introduction

Welcome to Matra Magic Pro ("the App", "we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Hindi language learning application available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

The App is operated by Gita Mishra ("Developer"), located in India.

By downloading and using Matra Magic Pro, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

The only personal information you provide is:

• Your name (optional) — entered during onboarding for personalised greetings. If you skip this, we use "Learner" as a placeholder.

If you purchase the ₹199 full access unlock, this transaction is processed entirely by Google Play Billing (or Apple App Store). We do not receive, store, or process your payment information. Please refer to Google's and Apple's privacy policies for payment data handling.

All data stored by the App is used solely to provide the learning experience:

• Personalise your name in stories and greetings
• Display your learning progress, XP, and streaks
• Remember your display, audio, and accessibility preferences
• Track daily learning goals and weekly study charts
• Unlock badges as you achieve milestones

We do NOT use your data for advertising, analytics, or any commercial purpose beyond operating the App.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any user data with any third party for any purpose.

The App uses the following third-party services for technical operation only:

None of these services receive your personal information or learning data.

6. Children's Privacy

Matra Magic Pro is designed for users of all ages, including children aged 4 and above. We comply with applicable children's privacy laws including India's IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules and COPPA (for international users).

• We do NOT knowingly collect personal information from children
• All data stays on the child's device
• No social features, chat, or user-generated content
• No third-party advertising SDKs
• Parents can delete all data by going to Settings → Reset Progress in the App, or by uninstalling the App

7. Data Storage and Security

All user data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage (React Native's secure local storage). Data is:

• Never transmitted to our servers (we have no servers that store user data)
• Never backed up to cloud services by our App
• Protected by your device's own security (screen lock, encryption)
• Permanently deleted when you uninstall the App
• Deletable at any time via Settings → Reset Progress

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access: All your data is visible within the App (Profile → Stats, Settings)
• Delete: Settings → Reset Progress deletes all learning data instantly
• Portability: Data is local — you own it entirely on your device
• Correction: You can change your name any time in Settings
• Withdrawal: Uninstall the App to remove all data permanently

10. Advertising

Matra Magic Pro does not contain any advertisements. We do not use any advertising SDKs (AdMob, Meta Audience Network, etc.). We do not track users for advertising purposes. Our only revenue comes from the optional ₹199 one-time in-app purchase.

11. Push Notifications

If you enable daily reminders in Settings → Notifications, the App will send local device notifications reminding you to practice. These notifications are generated entirely on your device — we do not use push notification servers. You can disable them at any time in the App's Settings or in your device's Notification settings.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.

13. Applicable Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA). Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.
